This plan is perfect if you're a first time marathon runner who wants to enjoy the journey of training to run 26.2 miles. If you don't have a time goal in mind but would like to finish your first marathon with a smile on your face... This one is for you! 

 

What To Expect:

This plan includes 4 runs a week + 1 crosstraining session. Your milage will start off at 15 miles in your first week and build up to 40 miles in week 15 before tapering down to get you ready for race day! There's also a full guide covering everything you will ever need to know about running a marathon.

This plan is for a more experienced runner that wants to break the 3 hour mark for the marathon. It's demanding, but if you fully commit to it you'll show up on race day in the best shape of your life.

 

 

What To Expect:

 

This plan includes 6 runs a week including 2 speedwork sessions, averaging between 55 and 60 miles each week. You should be running 40+ miles a week before entering week 1 of this plan.
